Where do you train?
Our seniors train Mon / Wed / Fri from 7pm in Derry Rovers Athletics Track at Brians Park and our Juveniles train Mon / Wed from 5pm in St Marys Secondary School (Winter) and Brians Park in the Spring/Summer.
New members are always welcome
What are your fees?
Its €100 for single annual membership, €150 for a couple and €170 for a family. Juvenile rates are €12. Edenderry AC is an AAI registered club and all our athletes are registered and insured through the AAI (Athletics Association of Ireland)
Can I try without joining?
Absolutely, come along to any of the training sessions and give it a go. Running is a great way to get in shape and a great way to make new friends
Do you accept new members?
New members are welcome any time. Running is not only a great way to get fit and push yourself, its also a great social outlet and a fantastic way to make new friends.
Do you cater for beginners?
Yes! We have runners of all abilities and all paces so there is always someone to run with. Our members give each other great support and theres always a great bit of banter and fun.
Do you run any beginner programs?
Yes we regularly run a couch to 5K which is always greatly supported. Keep an eye on our social media accounts for more information
What distances do you run?
We have members training for all distances from 5k right up to Marathon and Ultra marathon distances so there is something for everyone. Mid week runs tend to be shorter with a long run on a Sunday morning (except race days)
Are you and AAI (Athletics Ireland) Club
Yes, Edenderry Athletics Club is a registered member of Athletics Ireland, and each of our members is also registered, This is covered in your membership fee, and it includes insurance when you train with the club or take part in any AAI sponsored event.
